Terms of Service

GrayscaleInsight publishes daily geopolitical, security and cyber-threat briefings drawn from publicly available sources, plus a threat-intelligence dashboard derived from third-party reporting. The Service is provided strictly for research, situational awareness and educational purposes. Nothing on the Service is investment, legal, military, operational or other professional advice and must not be relied upon as the sole basis for any decision.

The threat-intelligence section ("CTI") aggregates and reformats alleged claims made by threat actors and reporting from third-party security publications. We act as a monitoring publisher only. Specifically:

• Incidents and victim names are reported as alleged claims by threat actors and have not been independently verified by GrayscaleInsight;
• Inclusion of any actor, group, organisation, individual or activity does not constitute endorsement, accusation, attribution or factual finding by us;
• The information is provided strictly for security awareness and academic research;
• You must not use the Service to harass, retaliate against, dox, attack or otherwise act against any party mentioned, nor to make legal, employment, financial or operational decisions about a third party;
• If you are a party named in CTI content and consider the underlying public report inaccurate, your remedies lie principally against the original reporting source. You may also contact us with a correction or take-down request, which we will review on a reasonable, good-faith basis.

• You must be at least 16 years old to register;
• You agree to provide accurate registration information and to keep your credentials confidential;
• Accounts are personal, non-transferable and non-shareable;
• You are responsible for all activity under your account; notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

• Plans: we currently offer a free tier and a paid annual subscription. Pricing and feature inclusion are listed at pricing.
• Payment: paid plans are settled in cryptocurrency. The terms of the upstream payment processor apply to that transaction.
• Renewals and cancellation: you may cancel future renewals at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• Refunds: because cryptocurrency settlements are practically irreversible, paid subscriptions are non-refundable once confirmed. As an exception, where the Service is materially unavailable for more than seven consecutive days through our fault, we may consider a pro-rated refund on request to contact@grayscaleinsight.com.
• Tax: prices are exclusive of any applicable taxes for which you are responsible.

You agree not to:

• Resell, redistribute or publicly republish paid content without prior written permission;
• Reverse engineer, scrape, mass-extract or circumvent access controls;
• Use automated tools to create accounts or to retrieve content;
• Use the Service to harass, retaliate against, dox or act offensively against any party mentioned in our content;
• Use the Service to make legal, financial, employment or operational decisions affecting third parties based on unverified CTI claims;
• Upload, transmit or distribute unlawful, infringing, malicious or harassing material through any interactive feature;
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
• Interfere with the Service's operation or attempt to access other users' accounts.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with no refund and without prejudice to other remedies.

The editorial content, design and code on the Service belong to us. Subscribers receive a personal, non-commercial licence to read and quote with attribution. Anything beyond that — bulk reproduction, republication, commercial reuse — needs our written permission.

The Service quotes from and links to third-party reports. We do not control, and are not responsible for, the content or practices of any third party. Linking does not imply endorsement.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, TIMELINESS OR FITNESS FOR PROFESSIONAL USE. We do not guarantee that any specific intelligence is accurate, current or actionable. You use the Service at your own risk.

You agree to indemnify and hold GrayscaleInsight harmless from any claim, demand or liability (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your acting on intelligence from the Service against any third party.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time. We may terminate accounts in breach of these Terms without notice and without refund.

The operator chooses not to publicly disclose its registered jurisdiction. These Terms shall be construed in English. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Service shall first be addressed by good-faith negotiation by email. If the dispute is not resolved within sixty (60) days of first written notice, it shall be referred to and finally resolved by binding arbitration before a single arbitrator, administered by a recognised international arbitration institution, conducted in English, with the seat to be agreed by the parties or, failing agreement, determined by the institution under its rules. Each party bears its own costs unless the arbitrator orders otherwise. Nothing in this clause limits any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection law of your country of residence.

We may revise these Terms. Material revisions will be announced on the site and, where appropriate, by email. Continued use after the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance.

• Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Severability: if any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder remains in full force.
• No waiver: failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of that provision.
• Assignment: we may assign these Terms; you may not.
